Abby’s Downtown Transformation

Abby’s project brings a bold new personality to the Kruse Collective portfolio. Sharing a downtown Chicago condo with her boyfriend, she wanted to create a home that felt moody, playful, elevated, and reflective of both of them.

The vision centers around rich greens, warm woods, deep grays, and black accents, layered with unexpected details that give the condo character without overwhelming the space. Rather than designing each room individually, we’re creating a cohesive story that flows throughout their home while still giving every space its own moment.

With thoughtful layouts, collected furnishings, interesting textures, and a balance of masculine and feminine details, the goal is to transform their condo into a space that feels intentional, but never too serious.
